SAPHE Architecture Overview
These documents give an illustration of the end-to-end system architecture proposed by the SAPHE project:

SAPHE Service Usage Scenarios
This document has been prepared by the SAPHE Project Partners to provide an initial overview of potential SAPHE functionality and operation shown through usage scenarios. It simply presents the scenario narrative outputs of the Scenario Usage Scenarios work package. Accompanying public documents outline the prior analysis of events taken from existing scenarios (D03b_pub) and the methodology for scenario development (D03c_pub):

This document accompanies the public scenarios document (D03a_pub) and outlines the prior analysis of events taken from existing scenarios used in the development of SAPHE scenarios:

This document has been prepared by the SAPHE Project Partners to provide an overview of the methodology for scenario development used within the Service Usage Scenarios work package:

SAPHE User HCI and Engagement
This document intends to look at the role of the Community Matron and the problems they encounter in managing their service users. This document will also go on to describe a user scenario for a Community Matron. This has been based upon a number of informal discussions with Community Matrons from a number of PCTs. Though individual PCTs work in different ways the underlying issues are consistent:

Often scenarios are created to justify particular features or technologies. They may include unrealistic assumptions about work practice or technical feasibility. By adding persona to the scenarios we can validate the assumptions. By asking how 'Janet' will use a certain feature rather than how the feature will be used by Janet means you start to think form the persons viewpoint rather than the technologies viewpoint:

The purpose of this document is to establish some guidelines for producing usable devices for inclusion in the SAPHE system and identify barriers to acceptance. This document will first discuss design and usability principles and lead on to look at barriers to acceptance. It must be remembered that there are many users of the SAPHE system other than the patient themselves, and the design has to take their needs and constraints into consideration:
