Danail Stoyanov, Ph.D.

I have now moved to University College London (UCL) and this page is no longer maintained!

I am a Royal Academy of Engineering/EPSRC Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Imperial College London. My broad research interests focus on the development of technologies for medicine and healthcare.

Currently, I am working on techniques for advanced image guidance and control in robotic assisted surgery. My doctoral research was carried out at the Royal Society/Wolfson MIC Laboratory and involved work on robotic assisted minimally invasive surgery and in particular the recovery of information about the intra-operative soft-tissue surface geometry.
