Conference Venue
MICCAI 2009 is to be hosted in the heart of London - one of the world's leading business, financial, and cultural centres, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and the arts all contribute to its status as a major global city. London is a popular tourist destination in the world due to its perfect binding of the past and the present. Most visitors enjoy visiting London's famous landmarks including the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, Kensington Palace and St Paulís Cathedral. London also has some wonderful parks and gardens including Hyde Park, Greenwich Park and St. James Park.  Be sure to enjoy an evening in the theatres in Londonís West End, there are always plenty of first-rate shows to select from.
The venue of MICCAI 2009 will be located at the main campus of Imperial College London in South Kensington. It is situated in one of Londonís finest locations, adjacent to landmarks such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Science, Natural History and Victoria & Albert Museums, with Harrods and Hyde Park just a short walk away.  The conference is organised jointly by research teams at Imperial College, University College London (UCL), University of Oxford and University of Manchester.
