1) *MICCAI membership
Registrants who choose to become members of the MICCAI Society for 2009/10 by selecting the option "Do you want 2009/10 MICCAI Society membership" during Step 1 of the registration process for MICCAI 2009. You are considered to be a member of the MICCAI Society immediately and can register for the MICCAI 2009 conference at the member discounted rates. Details about the full range of Society membership and benefits are available at www.miccai.org.
* Note on 4th June 2009, MICCAI reduced the membership fee published on this site from £80 (full), £40 (student) to £64 and £32, respectively. For those who have already paid your 2009/2010 membership dues along with the MICCAI 09 registration, you will receive a personal email about this change and the difference will be reimbursed to your credit card account used for payment.
2) *Student status
Students whose enrolled fraction at an acceptable tertiary institution is greater than 60% may register as students. Students must fill in sections on the form listing the name of your supervisor, as well as other details on the form. The page should then be printed, signed by your supervisor and sent via FAX to MICCAI 2009 on +44 (0) 20 7594 6883 or mail to eddie.edwards@imperial.ac.uk. Click here to download the form.
Students must have their supervisors signoff for student registration rate.
3) Payment
You can book your registration online and the preferred method of payment is by credit card. MICCAI 2009 processes VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB and Solo card only. When completing the online registration form and paid for your registration you will have your registration confirmed immediately by our system.
4) Early/Normal Registration
Registration until 1st August (extended to 15th August) receives a discount. After 1st August (extended to 15th August) the full rate will be payable.
5) Cancellation
Paying with credit card gives you the right to cancel your booking within seven days of the booking and full payment will be returned unless the event has already taken place within that time limit. Cancellations thereafter will be liable to the loss of the full fee. Notice of cancellation must be given in writing by email or fax and action will be taken to recover, from the delegates or their employers.
Cancellation must be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat before 1st August 2009. No refunds will be made for cancellations postmarked after 1st August 2009. If for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the Conference is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after expenses incurred by the Conference have been deducted.
If unable to attend, a colleague may attend in your place.
