Announcement of 8th Hamlyn Symposium
Promote the development of advanced, minimally invasive surgical robots that are intelligent, sensor rich and allow seamless human interaction through multidisciplinary collaboration between the surgical and engineering community

We are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the Eighth Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics to be held on Sunday, 21st and Monday, 22nd of June 2015 at the Royal Geographical Society. Workshops will be organised on Saturday, 20th and Tuesday, 23rd of June at the Imperial College London. 

The theme for this year’s Symposium is from whole body systems to micro instrumentsTopics to be addressed by the symposium include, but are not limited to:

  • Surgical navigation and augmented reality systems 
  • Surgical simulation, training and skills assessment 

The annual Hamlyn Symposium attracts world leading scientists, engineers and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines associated with medical robotics and surgery. There will be a series of invited talks from distinguished speakers who will provide great insights into cutting edge developments in the fields of robotics and medical technologies.
