Instructions for Presenters |
Oral Presentations
- Please send a copy of your presentation in PDF or Power Point format to Ms. Ruzanna Gulakyan (r.gulakyan@imperial.ac.uk) on or before May 8, 2012. If the file is too big to be sent via email, please use the Imperial File Exchange Server to send the file to Ms. Gulakyan.
- Please find the slide presentation template here for your reference.
- Each talk will be 15 minutes including questions and answers (except for invited talks).
- Please note the schedule of your presentation at the conference programme.
- Presenters shall arrive at the conference venue before 9:30am on the scheduled day of their presentation and upon arrival please notify the registration desk that they are the presenting authors.
- All presenters shall check their slides, computers, and projectors during the break before their respective sessions start
- Presenters shall liaise with the chairs of their sessions regarding introductions and the format of the presentation.
- Please send Ms. Gulakyan a web version of your presentation in PDF or Power Point format for posting on to the conference website on or before May 12, 2012.
- Should you have any query, please contact Ms. Gulakyan.
Poster Presentations
- Posters will be set up and presented in the Sunley room at the Royal Geographical Society. (Click here to see the layout in the Royal Geographical Society).
- All posters shall be set up at the Sunley room before 10:45
on 10 May 2012 and can be removed after 16:45 on 11 May 2012.
- A poster board (approx. 1m wide and 2m tall) will be provided for each poster presentation. Please find the poster template here for your reference.
- Each poster will be given a 3 minute slot at the conference to highlight the work
- A 3-minute teaser shall be prepared and the slides shall be emailed to Ms. Ruzanna Gulakyan (r.gulakyan@imperial.ac.uk) in Power Point or PDF format on or before May 8 2012. If the file is too big to be sent via email, please use the Imperial File Exchange Server to send the file to Ms. Gulakyan.

- Please send a PDF version of your poster to Ms. Ruzanna Gulakyan for posting onto the conference website on or before May 12, 2012.
- Presenters are advised to be presented at their
poster during coffee and lunch breaks for both days of the conference,
as delegates will visit and see the demo/poster during the breaks.

Demo/Research Showcase Presenters
- Demos and research showcases will be set up and presented in the Drayson room at the Royal Geographical Society. (Click here to see the layout in the Royal Geographical Society).
- All demos and research showcases shall be set up at the Drayson room before 10:45
on 10 May 2012 and can be removed after 16:45 on 11 May 2012.
- A poster board (approx. 1m wide and 2m tall), a small table (approx
1m x 1m) and a power point will be provided for each demo/showcase, and
wireless internet will be available at the conference venue. Please find the poster template here for your reference.

Workshop/Tutorial Presenters
- The pre-conference workshop will be held at the Bessemer Building at Imperial College London (please refer to the workshop programme for details) on Wed May 9, 2012.
- The post-conference workshop will be held at the Sherfield Buiding at Imperial College London (please refer to the workshop programme for details) on Sat May 12, 2012.
- Please liaise with your respective workshop/tutorial organizers regarding programme, presentation and format of the workshop.

- Wireless internet will be available at the venue.
- Coffee break and lunch will be provided at the venue.
- Please notify the registration desk that you are the presenting author when you arrive.
